The Simon Fraser University football team will open the 2013 Great Northwest Athletic Conference season against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks in Arcata, California on Saturday, Sept. 7.
SFU's home opener will not take place until three weeks later, when the Clan host Western Oregon at Terry Fox Field on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The Clan will have three home dates to end the season as they try to reach the NCAA Division II post-season for the first time as they host Dixie State on Nov. 2, Humboldt State on Nov. 9 and Azusa Pacific on Nov. 16.
The SFU football team will start their 2013 campaign with training camp atop Burnaby Mountain beginning in August.
