Simon Fraser University's Kristina Collins was named the Red Lion co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball.
Collins shared the award with Alaska Fairbanks' Samantha Thornton.
Collins led the Clan to a pair of wins last week, including a 67-60 victory over Central Washington University and a 73-52 win against Northwest Nazarene University.
Over the course of the weekend the 5-10 senior guard had 27 points and a team-high 14 assists.
Collins surrendered only a single turnover against Central Washington, and none against the Crusaders. She also led the Clan's defensive efforts, helping limit Northwest Nazarene to 22.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc on Saturday night.
With the wins, SFU clinched second place in the conference and a first-round bye in the conference tournament beginning March 6.
The Clan closes its conference schedule this week against Western Oregon and Saint Martin's in their final two matches.
