Simon Fraser University got back in the win column following a straight-set victory over the visiting Saint Martin's Saints last week.
The Clan won its fifth match in Great Northwest conference play, sweeping the Saints 25-21, 25-13 and 25-15 at home on Nov. 7.
Madeleine Hait of Burnaby led the squad in kills with 14, while Kelsey Robinson also reached double digits with 11 winners.
"I think, this game, we executed individually and executed well as a team, too," said Hait in a Clan press release. "Our offence and defence both played well. We've been working a lot on defending and turning saves into kills, and I think that showed tonight."
Tamara Nipp and Brooklyn Gould-Bradbury again led the team in assists with 21 and 19, respectively.
Defensively, Robinson led the team with 17 digs, while Alison McKay and Alanna Chan had 13 apiece.
The opening set stayed close throughout with the score tied nine times before the Clan pulled away late, taking the set by four.
In the second set, SFU went on a 14-5 run to take control of the set at 18-9 before closing out the set with the 12-point win.
With the score tied at 11 in the third set, SFU took control again, outscoring their opponents 14-5 the rest of the way to take the set and match three sets to none.
The victory improved the Clan's record to 5-8 in conference play.
On Saturday, SFU took Western Oregon to five sets before dropping the tiebreaker 15-12 at the West gym.
Robinson led the Clan with 23 kills and 12 digs. Mckay and Chan chipped in with 24 and 23 digs, respectively.
The loss dropped SFU’s overall record to 10-10. The Clan is in Alaska this weekend.
