Burnaby's Molly Gritchen notched her 50th goal of the NCAA Division I women's water polo season for California Baptist University.

Gritchen had three goals in CBU's 15-5 win over Azusa Pacific, while also potting a pair in a 14-7 victory over Concordia to finish the recent national invitation tournament in Fresno, California last month.

No. 19-ranked California Baptist finished the tourney with a spotless 4-0 record. Gritchen's half-century was second on the team in goals scored.

ATTACK SCORES IN SOUTH REGION WIN

Junior attack Riley Loewen of Burnaby scored a goal and added four assists to help the No. 4-ranked Limestone College field lacrosse team post its 48th consecutive NCAA Div. II victory against South Region opposition.

Limestone defeated Catawba College 17-7 on April 28. The win was the program's 20th all-time victory without a loss against the North Carolina school.
