Calgary Stampeder running back Jon Cornish rushed for 38 yards and caught three passes for another 56 yards, including a touchdown, in a 24-19 loss to the Edmonton Eskimos in CFL play on Saturday. In the fourth quarter, the St. Thomas More grad caught a short pass from quarterback Henry Burris and took it the remaining 36 yards into the end zone for a score, which narrowed Calgary's deficit to just three points.
