Stealth added assistant coach

Former Burnaby Laker junior Kaleb Toth was named an assistant coach on offence with the NLL Vancouver Stealth lacrosse club

Kaleb Toth was hired as an assistant coach with the Vancouver Stealth. 

Toth, currently the head coach of the Nanaimo Timbermen of the Western Lacrosse Association had also served as a scout with the Calgary Roughnecks in 2014.
Toth played for 13 seasons in the National Lacrosse League (11 seasons with Calgary and two with the Toronto Rock) before retiring in 2012.  

One of the most decorated players in NLL history, Toth won three Champions Cups in 2004 and 2009 with Calgary and in 2000 with Toronto. He was selected four times to the NLL all-star team and finished his NLL career with 346 goals, 438 assists and 723 points.  

In addition to his three NLL championships, Toth won a Minto Cup with the junior A Burnaby Lakers, two Mann Cup titles with Victoria and a World indoor championship with Team Canada.
“Kaleb is a winner, pure and simple, and we are very excited to have him join our organization,” said Stealth president and general manager, Doug Locker.
“I’m grateful to the Stealth organization for giving me the opportunity to coach with a team that has a winning tradition. I am looking forward to working with Dan (Perreault), the rest of the coaching staff and management, and I’m excited to bring my leadership on winning teams to help deliver the Champions Cup to Vancouver,” said Toth in a press release.
“Kaleb has had a great playing career and is a respected coach in the Western Lacrosse Association. I’m very excited to have him join our staff, as he truly understands today’s game.” said head coach Dan Perreault. “He will bring a dynamic, energetic, creative element to our bench.”
In addition to Toth the Stealth have re-signed assistant coach Art Webster, who will begin his ninth year with the organization and assistant coach Dave Evans, who enters his sixth year with the Stealth.  

Director of player development Kevin Alexander will also remain with the club in an expanded role to assist Toth with the offense. In addition, New Westminster Jr. A assistant coach Clay Richardson has been hired as the team’s advance scout.
