The Grandview Steelers failed to move up in the Pacific Junior Hockey League standings despite a couple of one-sided wins.

The junior B Steelers defeated the North Delta Devils 8-1 at the Burnaby Winter Club on Sunday after downing the Mission City Outlaws 6-1 on Nov. 28.

Rookie team scoring leader Christopher Seto led the club in both wins, earning a first star with a pair of goals on Sunday, and a second star following a three-point outing in Mission.

Seto currently leads all rookie scorers in league scoring with 16 goals and 27 points.

Grandview broke open a 1-1 first period against North Delta, scoring seven unanswered goals over the final two periods to chalk up its 12th win of the year.

Against Mission, Quinn Lenihan posted a pair of second-period counters to earn that game’s first star nod.

On Tuesday, Grandview earned a single point following a 2-1 double overtime loss to the league-leading Delta Ice Hawks.

Steelers’ goalie Cole MacInnes registered his first two wins with the club since being acquired in a trade with Aldergrove last month. MacInnes currently boasts a 1.29 goals against average and a sparkling .951 save percentage.

Grandview hosts the Aldergrove Kodiaks at the Burnaby Winter Club on Sunday. Game time is 4 p.m.
