The Grandview Steelers racked up back-to-back 3-1 wins over Richmond and Delta this past week.

Just four games into his tour with the Grandview Steelers, Wyatt Elmer is looking like the glue to the team’s offence.
The 17-year-old forward from Delta
delivered a pointed stick to the eye of his hometown Icehawks on Sunday, scoring twice in Grandview’s 3-1 victory at the Burnaby Winter Club.
He got the ball rolling for the Steelers, opening the scoring 1:27 into the third. Teammate Marc Lafrance increased the lead to 2-0 with a shorthanded marker just four minutes later.
While Delta, which trails Shaw Conference-leading Grandview by four points, made it a one-goal game with just under four minutes left, Elmer salted away the win by scoring into an empty net with four seconds on the clock.
Nico Bruno drew a pair of assists, while netminder Matteo Paler-Chow turned aside 23 shots for the win.
The Steelers, who earlier in the week edged Richmond 3-1, visit Mission on Saturday and host Surrey on Sunday, 4 p.m. at the Burnaby Winter Club.
