Swimmers shine in Day 1 at Olympic trials

Sherry Liu of Burnaby made the final of the women's 400-metre freestyle at the Canadian Olympic swim trials in Montreal on Tuesday. Liu, who swims for Hyacks, finished seventh in a time of 4: 16.39.

Liu, who swims for Hyacks, finished seventh in a time of 4: 16.39.

Simon Fraser Aquatics' Sean Nugent was fourth in the B final of the men's 100m breaststroke.

Hyack swimmer and Cariboo Hill Secondary teen Stefan Milosevic was also fourth in the B men's individual medley.
