Carla Wyman of New Westminster and Erin Chambers led the Clan with a game-high 25 points apiece.

Former SFU varsity player Amonda Francis topped the Douglas scoresheet with 11 points.

Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe, the Great Northwest conference preseason player of the year, led the home team with 13 rebounds and five assists, while adding 16 points.

The Clan put Douglas on its heels early in the match, racing out to a 20-3 lead in the first five minutes of play.

SFU continues its exhibition schedule with a road game against NCAA Division I Washington State on Tuesday.
