Simon Fraser University won its opening game of the Pacific Northwest Collegiate field lacrosse league.
The Clan defeated Western Washington University 16-12 on Burnaby Mountain last Saturday.
Defending league scoring champion Calvin Craig led the Clan with six goals and one assist.
Freshman Sam Clare chipped in with a hat trick, while junior Colton Dow also had a three-point game, including a goal.

Freshman John Mlikotic finished in a tie for 10th place at the California State University - San Marcos invitational golf tournament on Wednesday.
Mlikotic was in fourth place after a two-round 145 total but slipped to 10th at 11-over-par with a final round 82.
Calum Miller finished at 16-over with a tournament total 232. Mike Belle of Burnaby, a Great Northwest conference player of the week last fall, was 30th overall with three identical 78 rounds.
Going to the Hall
SFU women's basketball coach Bruce Langford will be inducted into the Basketball B.C. Hall of Fame at a gala dinner on April 21.
The two-time Canadian Interuniversity Sport coach of the year has a career record of 276-60 and five national championship titles with the Clan.
Langford also led high school teams to a provincial banner on three separate occasions. In 1997 and 2001, Langford led B.C.'s under-19 women's team to gold at the Canada Summer Games.
A pro tryout
Former SFU soccer player Dalvir Malhi was selected to the North American Soccer League combine this Friday.
Earlier, Sang Hwang and Derrick Bassi also had similar opportunities to showcase their talents to premier pro teams.
