SHE'S A PEPPER

Burnaby point guard Alisha Roberts will be playing basketball on a scholarship at Pepperdine University in Santa Clara, California next season.

Roberts, who averaged 15 points, four assists and four rebounds per game at the Canadian national championships, will be looking to help York House three-peat at the AA provincial championships this season.

"At the end of the day, it is about improving myself individually as a basketball player, being the best I can be and not worrying about that pressure," Roberts said in a Crown Magazine online press release.
