Three members of the Simon Fraser University women's volleyball team were named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference team of academic all-stars.
Kelsey Robinson, a junior, earns a spot on the squad for the second time in as many years of eligibility. She boasts a grade point average of 3.81 and is studying biology.
Two sophomore members of the Clan also appeared on the team for a first time.
Madeline Hait of Burnaby earned a spot with a 3.56 grade point average in business administration, while libero Alanna Chan's 3.43 grade point average in health sciences secured her place on the team.
Hait is third on the team in kills this season with 163, while Chan leads the squad with 374 digs.
A total of 40 student-athletes were named to the team. Athletes must carry a GPA of at least 3.20 to be eligible.
