Four soccer players, including two each from both Simon Fraser University and Douglas College were named to the Vancouver Whitecaps premier development league team.
Returning to the club is former residency player Douglas defender Bobby Jhutty. Midfielder Gagan Josan from SFU was a former member of the 'Caps prospects program.
New to the program are the Clan's Sang Hwang and former Canadian collegiate player of the year Reynold Stewart from Douglas.
The Whitecaps under-23 team begins its PDL campaign against the defending league champion Kitsap Pumas this Friday at Swangard Stadium.
The public is invited and will be admitted free to watch the match. Game time is 7: 30 p.m.
