Some residents were displaced early Sunday morning after a fire broke out in a Burnaby apartment building.
The Burnaby Fire Department Twitter account tweeted a photo of a blaze at a local apartment, but didn’t supply the address. The NOW has been unable to get anyone from the fire department on the phone for more comment.
According to the tweet, it was a three-alarm fire “promptly extinguished this morning utilizing aggressive firefighting tactics.”
The tweet also said the displaced residents are being helped by emergency services through the City of Burnaby.
