Attention Burnaby voters: check out our one-stop election page

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from studying analytics on our newspaper’s website, is that some people wait until the last minute to research who they will vote for in an election. And when I say last minute, I mean literally 2 p.m. on election.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from studying analytics on our newspaper’s website, is that some people wait until the last minute to research who they will vote for in an election.

And when I say last minute, I mean literally 2 p.m. on election.

I’ve seen that play out recently in the last municipal and federal election. It’s election day and our website has lit up more than normal with people reading all of the articles our reporters have posted about candidates and the issues.

I’m talking tens of thousands of pageviews.

Hey, better late than never. As long as people read up and then vote, I’m fine with it.

With that in mind, if you haven’t voted yet, check out our B.C. election page at Burnabynow.com/bc-votes-2020 in the coming days and hours.

What you’ll find are videos of candidates from all four Burnaby ridings answering questions.

You’ll also find candidates from all four Burnaby ridings answering questions the NOW has asked them in written form.

The page also include a variety of stories from throughout the campaign on all sorts of issues.

I know many people have already voted by mail in record numbers and at advance polls. But for the rest of you, this page has what you’ll need to make an informed decision.
