Burnaby RCMP need help identifying this alleged bank robber

Mounties in Burnaby are asking for the public’s help tracking down an alleged bank robber.

The robbery happened at a bank in the 4200 block of Kingsway on March 8, shortly before 1 p.m. Police allege the suspect walked into the bank and demanded money. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators have released surveillance images of the suspect in an effort to try and identify him.

“The images we have of this suspect are pretty clear and are urging anyone who may recognize this man to come forward immediately to speak with our investigators,” RCMP Cpl. Daniela Panesar said in a press release.

The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build and light-to-fair complexion. He is about six feet tall and clean shaven. He was wearing an orange T-shirt, grey bomber-style jacket with a hood, black pants and black shoes. He also had a bandage covering his nose.
