Cancer is no laughing matter.
Raising money to fight it is. At least that’s what the organizers of an event this Saturday, Sept. 14, think.
Mixed Nuts Productions has partnered with the Firefighters Public House in Burnaby to host Comedy for a Cure.
A selection of some of Vancouver’s top comedians have donated their time for this cause. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is by donation - with all the proceeds going to the Terry Fox Foundation.
The 2019 Terry Fox Run is on Sept. 15. This run is accessible to everyone and is by donation. Come down to Swangard Stadium at 9 a.m. to register for the run and bring a few friends. The Terry Fox Run is the original run for Cancer Research. There will be music and festivities.
