Expect traffic delays Friday with this Burnaby fundraising event

The annual Terry Fox Run-Walk at the SFU Burnaby campus will take place along campus roads and pedestrian walkways on Friday, September 27th (2019).

The annual Terry Fox Run-Walk at the SFU Burnaby campus will take place along campus roads and pedestrian walkways on Friday, September 27th (2019).

Traffic delays and bus service interruptions are expected between 12:30pm - 1:30pm while the event takes place.

TRAFFIC DELAYS

1. Sections of University High Street, University Crescent, Highland Court, Gaglardi Way and University Drive West will be temporarily closed to allow runners and walkers to pass through these areas.

2. All traffic in areas of the run-walk will be stopped while participants are on the road. Traffic will be released after runners and walkers pass by.

BUS SERVICE 

1. Transit will pick up and drop off passengers at the bus stops located on Gaglardi Way (at the Transportation Centre) and on University Drive West (by the SFU Residences).

2. There will be no bus service from 12:30pm - 1:30pm at the east campus bus loop located by the Cornerstone Building.   

3. There will be no bus service from 12:30pm - 1:30pm at the bus stops located on Tower Road and South Campus Road.

From 12:30pm - 1:30pm, commuters are directed to attend and board buses at the Gaglardi Way and University Drive West bus stops.
