It isn't even summer yet but it looks like the dog days are nearly over in Burnaby.
Florence and the Machine, the popular English band fronted by Florence Welch, announced on the band's website today that they will be playing Deer Lake Park this July.
The band is best known for singles such as Kiss with a Fist, Dog Days are Over, You've Got the Love and Shake It Out.
The show on Friday, July 20 is part of the second leg of the band's North American tour.
Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, Feb. 24.
