The Burnaby Artisan Farmers’ Market is back in business.

The market was shut down last month due to concerns over the COVID0-19 pandemic.

But the market is considered an essential service like grocery stores and so it is being opened again this Saturday, April 18, in the parking lot at Burnaby City Hall. According to the market’s Twitter feed, the market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The market’s tweet said that hygiene rules will be followed, with the wearing of masks and gloves by vendors. Visitors are advised to maintain physical distance and not hang around market. Just shop and then go.

For those who haven’t visited the market before, it’s loaded with organic produce.
