The next event has a group of concerned Forest Grove residents organizing a town hall session on Oct. 2 to look at safety, relative to the expanded Trans Mountain operations in the neighbourhood. it takes place in the evening at Forest Grove Elementary.
Organizers say they expect Mayor Mike Hurley, city staff, MLA Katrina Chen and most of the federal candidates attending. There will also be questions about the propose SFU gondola as well.
“While this is being billed as a Forest Grove event, other people from the mountain area are welcome to attend,” said John Bathurst, one of the event’s organizers.
