The Metro Vancouver weather forecast is calling for a decidedly wet week ahead as well as some chilly temperatures.
Starting on Wednesday, the forecast calls for rain, at times heavy, with total amounts of 20 to 30 millimetres expected. What's more, southeast winds of up to 40 to 60 km/h becoming southwest 20 km/h near noon are expected, too. However, the evening forecast calls for a break from the rainfall, with cloudy skies and a low of six degrees.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday are also expected to see rainfall, with daily highs ranging between seven and 11 degrees. Lows of four to seven degrees are expected.
Sunday's forecast calls for rain during the day, however, the evening is expected to be dry but the temperature is expected to fall to zero degrees. Monday is also expected to be dry with a mix of sun and cloud during the day; Monday evening is expected to see a chilly low of minus one.
Tuesday's forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers.

After Vancouver received 34 centimetres of snowfall in five days earlier this month, the rest of January is looking decidedly wet. In fact, the forecast is calling for rain every day for the rest of the month and into the first week of February.
