A fair shake for Christy Clark?

Diane Walters seems to bemoan the fact that Christy is not getting a "fair shake." I assume she means from the media. Not quite sure what she considers a "fair shake." Does it mean the media should not question issues like the scandals in the premier's office? Or the Burnaby Hospital shenanigans, the actions of her cabinet ministers? The list goes on and on.

After a quick review of the March 22 issue of the NOW, I found the following: two of her famous photo ops, front page making pizza, and a speaking engagement on page 8 at a Liberal party fundraiser where she praises her "dear friend" Harry Bloy and her Burnaby roots.

To top it off, there are two half-page ads (paid for by taxpayers, by the way) boasting about her government's so called balanced budget and a questionable jobs plan.

While writing this, I saw two TV spots, also part of this $16-million Liberal per election campaign.

In conclusion, I think Ms. Clark is getting more than a "fair shake" from the media, and I respectfully submit it's time for the tax paying public to get a fair shake, that will come on May 14.
