Dear Editor:
Ever since the construction of Brentwood Gate project, Beta has become a hazard for cyclists and pedestrians crossing the street at the east entrance to the mall.
The heavy volume of traffic coming off Brentwood Drive and the lack of a pedestrian crosswalk has made the street very dangerous. Now someone has paid with his life.
It is time for the city to do something to make our neighbourhood safer - a pedestrian overpass or a pedestrian activated stoplight.
