Dear Editor:
My husband and I would like to send out a big thank you to the our selfless neighbours and community of North Burnaby and East Vancouver who helped us search for our lost dog "Pod."
She was our terrified little rescue dog that escaped from her collar and leash while out for a walk on Nov. 2.
We received numerous helpful phone calls as to her whereabouts and many attempts were made by our neighbours to help catch and track her down.
We are at a loss for words. We could not be more grateful. We want everyone to know that despite being hit by a car (she was too scared to let anyone close enough to her to capture her), she is back safe and sound and getting better each day.
