Summer seemed to finally hit yesterday with soaring temperatures.
But things were even hotter for Burnaby firefighters on Saturday night.
According to a tweet from the @BurnabyFireDept account, firefighters toppled a tricky fire in the 5100 block of Patrick in South Burnaby.
Firefighters needed to battle the blaze through a second-floor bedroom window to halt the house fire.
“An aggressive interior operation achieved rapid fire extinguish and life protection,” read the tweet. Great commitment to keep our community safe.”
