Driver blows through intersection during power outage and crashes

In case you didn’t notice, it was windy today. Damn windy. So windy, in fact, that it knocked out the power in a lot of areas of Metro Vancouver.

Damn windy.

So windy, in fact, that it knocked out the power in a lot of areas of Metro Vancouver. That left many intersections without power and required drivers actually use their brains when going through one.

NOW reader Kevin Loh sent me this dash cam video - see it below - from a Lougheed Highway intersection at Blue Mountain Street in Coquitlam of a truck blowing through an intersection at full speed while the traffic signals weren’t working.

Watch him crash into another vehicle.

Good grief.
