Goodbye, sun: Vancouver forecast calls for a week of rain

Earlier this month, Vancouver broke the record for the longest stretch of no precipitation ending in November — but all dry spells must come to an end.

Now, the Metro Vancouver weather forecast calls for a week of rainfall with mild daily temperatures to carry into next week.

Starting on Tuesday, Environment Canada calls for rain to end in the late morning with a 60 per cent chance of showers through the day. It also calls for a daily high of 10°C and a low of 8°C. Following this, Wednesday’s forecast calls for periods of drizzle during the day with a 40 per cent chance of rain and cloudy periods overnight.

Thursday through Sunday are expected to see periods of rainfall, while Monday’s forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers.
