Since taking over the reins of the Burnaby NOW, I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how loyal our readers are when it comes to supplying me with ideas for stories.
The dynamic photo duo of John Preissl and Glen Govier have been especially amazing.
The two local nature photographers send me some incredible photos of local wildlife.
Govier recently sent me two stunning photos of bald eagles in a next and some trees in the Deer Lake area. (Click on the photo above to see the second one.)
The eagles struggled a bit in 2019 after storms blew down one of their nests in Burnaby. They seem to be thriving now.
