This Burnaby dumper gave our neighbourhood the middle finger

So, your refrigerator no longer works. What do you do with it? Well, I know what I wouldn’t do with it. I wouldn’t dump it on somebody’s front lawn – right in front of a sign that says “no dumping.

So, your refrigerator no longer works.

What do you do with it?

Well, I know what I wouldn’t do with it. I wouldn’t dump it on somebody’s front lawn – right in front of a sign that says “no dumping.”

Instead, I would find the proper place to dispose of it. I was thinking about this when I saw that somebody had just dump a fridge in this exact scenario near my Burnaby home. Oh, and there is a giant mattress next to it.

This is what happens at the end/beginning of each month all over our city. People moving out just say, “screw it, I’m not going to put any effort to dispose of this properly. Let some other schmuck deal with it.”

We (taxpayers) are the schmucks because often cities are the ones who have to deal with the disposal. Or we (people who pay strata fees) have to deal with the situation.

Either way, it sucks.
