Bubble tea is like crack to me – I just can’t get enough.

That’s why it’s so funky that TransLink’s Buzzer Blog is highlighting Burnaby places to get bubble tea near SkyTrain stations.

This follows last week’s Dine the Line initiative, which showcases a number of foodie destinations across the region and encourages “tourists and diners to take transit while enjoying a day out,” according to a press release.

There are three different self-guided tours to choose from, one for each SkyTrain line, including Burnaby stops.

As for bubble tea, TransLink offers these two locations you might want to try.

Metrotown Station (Expo Line)

OneZo Tapioca
Address: 4929 Kingsway
Walking Time: 12 mins (but 5 mins with the 144 bus)

Boba pearls are the dark starchy balls at the bottom of most drinks, but OneZo makes their drinks more fun with colored and flavoured pearls! They also make them fresh in house every day.

Lougheed Town Centre Station (Millennium Line)

CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice
Address: E-501 North Rd
Walking time: 5 minutes

Close to the Lougheed Town Center bus loop, Coco offers tropical yogurt-based drinks using Yakult, which adds more of a refreshing taste rather than creamy.
