'Crazy train' has brought good to B.C

Re: All aboard the NDP 'crazy train'?, Letters to the editor, Burnaby NOW, July 20

I am amazed at Donald Leung beating the drum over the performance of the Liberal government.

Seems to me that every time I open the newspaper, they are mired in some kind of a scandal, B.C. Rail, run of the river private power generation, overpaid ferry executives, etc.

If something makes money, they sell it off at firesale prices. If it's a loser, the public gets to keep it.

As for Leung's NDP crazy train, it has been my experience that anything that benefited the general public was instigated by the NDP.

During the times they were in power in B.C., they legislated affordable medicine for the aged, Pharmacare, income, family farm protection, better return on forest royalties, better transit, streamlined legal system, improved consumer laws and the agricultural land freeze.

All things that have been watered down by the Liberals.

There have been huge losses of farm land.

The NDP made an honest mistake with the ferries, but that's over and done, B.C. Rail we can regret forever. Give me a break.
