In regards to your article concerning the Burnaby Art Gallery, the former Edmonds library building was built based on the design of an art gallery.
This is the reason for the wall of glass which faces north, to allow true light to enter the building; the
other windows are placed to control the light entering the building.
As the building is about to become vacant with the opening of the new Edmonds Community Centre, this would be a good opportunity to offer this space to the Burnaby Art Gallery for their use.
