Dear Editor:
Getting around just got harder, Burnaby NOW, Nov. 27.
As the son of a person who used a power wheelchair, I appreciate the importance of convenient, speedy and affordable HandyDart transport.
I find it disingenuous when TransLink officials say they are doing the best they can with the available resources while a $120-million gondola up Burnaby Mountain remains a priority on their capital "investment" list.
The long-term depreciation burden of such "white elephant" projects steals resources from the operation of a good HandyDart system.
