Re: More protests expected, Burnaby NOW, Oct. 23.
Mayor Derek Corrigan seems reticent to tell us how much Kinder Morgan pays in municipal taxes for city amenities, including policing. He's quick to inform us that Greenpeace is constituted of some very committed individuals, but nowhere does he mention "criminal damage" or "damage to private property."
That said, we know full well that if some elderly woman was handing out pamphlets outside of one of the city's abortion clinics or one of the hospitals that provides them, they would be on her like a tonne of bricks.
How many of the miscreants mentioned have been charged and how many are now in jail? Just curious.
