I enjoyed the live bands and fireworks at Swangard Stadium yesterday celebrating Canada Day. I think somebody really screwed up though when it came to ordering the beer! Why is a crappy American discount beer (Pabst Blue Ribbon) being sold at an event celebrating everything Canadian? Especially, when we have so many great B.C. craft breweries including, Dageraad, right here in Burnaby! It makes no sense! Hopefully, this will be corrected for next year and going forward.
