Editor: I liked it when our mayor called the Metrotown area “Downtown Burnaby.”
A number of new highrise buildings give impression that Burnaby is, at last, becoming a city. However, these new tall buildings are also powerful reflectors of sound.
A growing number of loud bikes and modified car exhausts produce a terrible noise. Our city should ban the traffic noise and equip the police with adequate meters to enforce it.
