It is not unconstitutional to appeal to the courts to rule on jurisdictional disputes, contrary to the opinion of Kristoffer Palma.

As a resident of the Forest Grove neighbourhood, I support Burnaby city council on standing up to the federal government regarding the Trans Mountain (a.k.a. Kinder Morgan) pipeline project.

Our mayor and council have been consistent in opposing this project for over four years now because of the negative impacts it would have on our city. They have heard the concerns of Burnaby residents who oppose the pipeline for environmental and safety reasons. They are a great example of elected officials listening to their constituents and deserve to be re-elected for that alone.
