Letter: Man who fed bear Timbits gets bigger fine than drivers in Burnaby teen's death

The Victoria Times Colonist ran a story today about a man who was charged $2,000 for feeding Timbits to bears out of his truck window. 

The Burnaby drivers who hit Fernanda Girotto in a marked crosswalk, not once but twice, dragging her to her horrific death, received fines of $1,600. 

I am heartbroken and speechless. I no longer have faith in our justice system, or in the media, if this injustice is not widely protested.
