For the sake of those drivers that are driving south on Bainbridge to connect with the Lougheed Highway, something must be done to improve traffic flow before an accident occurs.
Since Winston Street is closed going west past Bainbridge, all traffic must now drive north up Bainbridge to drive further west on the Lougheed.
It might be in Burnaby’s best interest if a turn arrow was placed on the road where the vehicles are turning left onto Lougheed from Bainbridge and a straight arrow to indicate cars going straight through.
There is great deal of hesitation from drivers turning from the north side of Bainbridge onto the Lougheed going east hoping someone doesn’t drive straight through.
