As a long-time Burnaby resident, I am shocked at the conditions of the Burnaby Mountain trails.
Today, I went for a walk along Jim’s Jungle trail and noticed major neglect by the parks department on this very busy trail off Old North Road.
Does the mayor need to hire more staff or just workers that care about the trails system?
I have noticed how the trails maintenance program on Burnaby Mountain has declined over the past couple of summers.
Today, I took pictures of the rotten seat, boardwalks, fence and bridge. Hopefully this will get someone’s attention before there is an accident.
