I would like to put forward my observations on the recent news in the Burnaby NOW reiterated by city councillor and Metro Vancouver chair Sav Dhaliwal regarding washroom facilities in SkyTrain stations.
In my opinion, this is a very important issue raised by Mr. Dhaliwal, since I have personally experienced odd situations in this respect.
TransLink’s explanation on the provision of washrooms do not provide any promising picture of the present situation, since they emphasize that washrooms may be misused.
This is not a solution to the issue.
I think it is high time that TransLink do their part instead of dodging their responsibility.
