Dear Editor: Re: Former Liberal MLA should stay out of it, Inbox,Burnaby NOW, March 14.
I agree with the writer Mr. Peter Cech when he wrote that Mr. Richard Lee, former MLA for the Liberal party for Burnaby North, is not in any position to criticize the NDP on the Burnaby Hospital issue after only 33 weeks in power, when he and the Liberals didn’t do anything during their years in power.
Mr. Cech says: “Mr. Lee was invisible when he was MLA for Burnaby North. He would do us all a great favour if he remained invisible.”
Mr. Cech, in my opinion, you could not have been more correct, and I would like to applaud you for taking the time to put in writing what I and, I’m sure, a lot of Burnaby residents had thought.
However, that said, in my opinion, the Burnaby Hospital issue should definitively be at the top of any leading political party’s priority list.
