Dear Editor:
Given that the proposed Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion is economic at its root, opponents might well decline to purchase products from two of its three committed Trans Mountain anchor subscribers, Esso and Husky/Mohawk (the third being BP).
Such a boycott of Esso and Husky/Mohawk could be exponentially more effective if it were adopted by the City of Burnaby and some of the other Lower Mainland municipalities that oppose the proposed Trans Mountain expansion.
