Dear Editor: Suppose all pipelines, regardless of content, were shut down . How do Premier John Horgan and Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan propose to generate energy for B.C .

Dear Editor: Suppose all pipelines, regardless of content, were shut down.

How do Premier John Horgan and Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan propose to generate energy for B.C.?

Nuclear power?(Chernobyl! Fukushima!) Wind turbines?(Dead birds!) Tidal power?(There is only one Bay of Fundy.) Biomass conversion? (How do you measure the greenhouse gases?). Solar power? (How many sunny days does the Lower Mainland get from October to March?)

To paraphrase an earlier Alberta politician: “Let those B.C. Green and NDP bums freeze in the dark.”
