LETTERS: It’s time for us all to join together in peace

Dear Editor: Remembrance Day, Nov. 11. On this day, I wear a red poppy to express my sorrow for all the soldiers of the world who died and are dying from fighting because they thought they were doing the right thing.

Dear Editor:

Remembrance Day, Nov. 11. On this day, I wear a red poppy to express my sorrow for all the soldiers of the world who died and are dying from fighting because they thought they were doing the right thing. On this day, I wear a white poppy to remember all the other people who have died and are dying from war because we all think we are doing the right thing. Today, I need a symbol to remember the natural world that has and is dying as we humans continue fighting because we don’t know what we are doing. Today, let us remember we could all perish if we continue this perpetual war.

Let us remember, we the people, know the right and necessary thing to do because we can join together in peace, reject the fighting, abolish the military and together restore the planet for the living.
