Re: “It’s home and I don’t want to leave,” Burnaby NOW, July 8.
I believe that this situation certainly deserves media attention. To be a Canadian university instructor for over eight years, yet still fall short of the ability to be a permanent resident. I think that’s unfair, and certainly falls within the “exceptional cases” that can be handled personally by the immigration minister.
