Picking up the garbage weekly was a waste of labour. It would take me a month to fill my garbage container.
As the city will be picking up garbage every second week, I think the city should consider picking up soft plastics and styrofoam on the alternate weeks. Many of us are wasting a lot of fuel, continually driving to the recycling depot to deposit our soft plastics and styrofoam. By picking up soft plastics and styrofoam, it also might encourage other citizens to recycle more.
