Burnaby’s mayor seems to be a big topic in the media both by a past Premier, and from tenants protesting the loss of low-cost rental units in the Metrotown area.
Dan Miller made note that prior to the construction of the Trans Mountain pipeline, some 60 years ago, these fuels were transported up the coast from California. Oh well, I suppose we could always go back to that method of transporting our needs.
Local protesters, in the Metrotown area re: the loss of low-cost rentals, did not hear back from the mayor nor councillor Colleen Jordan, whom they requested comments from. Not sure if this is the way to get your name in the paper, even if it isn’t the local one.
